What do I get in a lesson?
I drive to you, so the lesson happens at your own piano or keyboard. There is nothing to carry and no traffic to sit in.
Every lesson ends with a practice plan for the week you actually have: fifteen minutes a day, written down.
Every month you record a performance of the song of the month. Every quarter there is a living-room concert for your family, and the year ends with a recital.
Is the first visit really free?
Yes. I come to your home for 30 minutes, check your piano or keyboard, and we talk about the songs you love. You play your first song before I leave.
After that you decide. No contract, no package: you continue for as long as the lessons work for you.
How often are lessons, and when?
Once a week, 45 or 60 minutes, on weekday daytimes. Evening lessons after 5 pm are possible on request, with a $20 supplement per lesson.
Who are the lessons for?
Teens and adults, from age 12. Complete beginners and people who stopped years ago are both welcome.
I teach in McLean, Great Falls, Vienna, Tysons, Falls Church, North Arlington and Oakton. If you are somewhere nearby, ask.
